An IT department was made up of people who were very good at following a process.
Sadly, although, the manager knew where he wanted to take the department, he was unable to communicate his vision to his team. This resulted in the department being in a constant state of fire fighting and very poorly thought of in the organisation, which in itself was demoralising.

Once the manager learnt how to translate his vision into bite size chunks, his was able to help put a series of processes in place which turned the department around to being well run and productive.

This came about through the manager recognising his communication shortcomings but also the needs of his staff. By using verbal personality profiling, you can learn to uncover peoples’ strengths, which can be used for everyone’s benefit. By understanding weaknesses you can work out how to mitigate their effects.

The real power of this workshop lies in being able to elicit someone’s profile without the distraction of writing responses; a clip board can be a real barrier. Because all you are doing is holding a conversation, you get to build deeper rapport and hence, greater influence.
